One word – UNDERPRICE it.
This past weekend in Maryland was glorious! Perfect weather & buyers were out in droves. In the popular River Hill neighborhood, two houses one block apart come on the market. Both were stunning in their own ways, beautifully maintained, lovely floor plans. One was actually a former model for the community. Buyers & their agents walked past each other on their way from one to the other. One was priced $135,000 more than the other. Guess which one is off market? No guessing needed (just wanted to tease a little)…drum roll…the one for $135,000 less with multiple offers.
I know what you’re thinking right now –anyone can sell an underpriced house quickly…the sellers gave it away. What the sellers did was to create their own unoffical auction for the property.
